The Committee on Health and Human Resources moved to amend the bill on page 4, section 12, after line 20, by adding thereto a new subsection, designated subsection (d) to read as follows:

(d) For the purpose of this section, dietary supplements as defined in 21 U.S.C. section 321 (ff) shall not be considered foods.
